Voting has begun over at AfterElton.com on this year's "Hot 100", so be sure to head on over and vote for your favorite, well, hotties. Honestly, my choices haven't changed that much from last July, save for the addition of a certain speed racer (vroom, vroom indeed). Voting will continue through May 16, with the final results revealed June 2.

And if you're still in the voting mood, the NewNowNext Awards are also taking votes in such categories as "Most Guiltiest Pleasure" and "Best Show You're Not Watching", among others. The awards will be broadcast on LOGO June 7.

First look at High School Musical 3: Senior Year ... although it is pretty much what you would expect considering the ads for the first two movies.

What is most interesting is that, according to MTV.com, filming has yet to start on the Disney franchise's first theatrical outing ... and yet it is scheduled to open this October 24.

Bardem Says "Nein" to "Nine"

Citing a need to rest from his recent busy schedule of making movies and winning awards, Javier Bardem has bowed out of the upcoming Rob Marshall helmed film version of the Tony Award winning Broadway musical Nine.

How much you want to bet Antonio Banderas is speed-dialing Harvey Weinstein right now? Or maybe they could, you know, cast an actual Italian ...

The Latest in Theaters: I Spy

Iron Man isn't the only movie opening this weekend:

• Kiss Me Deadly: A Jacob Keane Assignment: Robert Gant stars as super-spy Jacob Keane, described as a "gay James Bond". Shannen Doherty, John Rhys-Davies and Ian Roberts co-star in the first of a hoped-for series. (In limited release, visit the movie's official website for a schedule of cities and upcoming dates.)
• Made of Honor: Hard not to state the obvious on this one: Patrick Dempsey as Julia Roberts in My Best Friend's Wedding.
• Son of Rambow: Garth Jennings’ semi-autobiographical look back at his childhood obsession with Sylvester Stallone’s First Blood.
• As for ol' metal head, tune in next week for what our own "Men on Film" thought about the first of this summer's would-be blockbusters.

Spider-Woman to Kiss Broadway Again

Manuel Puig's Kiss of the Spider Woman is returning to Broadway, but not the way we saw it last time.

No, this is not a revival of the John Kander/Fred Ebb tuner that starred Chita Rivera (see her here in the title number) and won the Tony for Best Musical. Instead, it will be a production (scheduled for this fall) of the Puig's own stage play version.

Oh, Hey! Simpsons!

The Simpsons Ride is now open in the former Back to the Future location at Universal Studios Florida, and LaughingPlace.com has extensive photo coverage of the new attraction. Over twenty familiar yellow faces (all with the original voices from the long-running TV show) appear in the ride, which finds Homer and his family (and you) on an out-of-control roller coaster at Krustyland, the "Krustiest Place on Earth".

The official grand opening will be later this month, as will the opening of the west coast version in Universal Studios Hollywood.
