Fresh Bondage

Those hoping for a continuation of the down and dirty James Bond of Daniel Craig in Casino Royale should be satisfied with this first look trailer of his next big screen adventure, Quantum of Solace.

"Continuation" is the key word here for, unlike most of his previous cinematic exploits, this one will pick up where the last one left off, with an enraged 007 seeking revenge for the death of his true love, Vesper Lynd, in the climax of the last film.

A motor boat chase, free falling stunts, a sharp-as-a-tack Judi Dench and, yes, Craig with his shirt off ... things are looking good for Quantum of Solace, in theaters November 7.

MD Poll: Jonesin' for Action

The internet has virtually exploded over Indiana Jones this week (for example, check out all the posts tagged "Indy 2008" -- as in 2,008 posts -- on Cinematical alone), so it is no big surprise that the classic adventurer tops the latest MD Poll as your favorite action movie hero.

Harrison Ford's iconic Raider of the Lost Ark netted nearly one-quarter of the votes, with James Bond coming in a close second. Supercop John McClane and superspy Jason Bourne also placed in the double digits, while the low-tech ape-man Tarzan rounds out the top five.

With the action-packed summer movie season almost upon us, what better way to celebrate then with the month of May's calendar wallpaper dedicated to our favorite movie action heroes.

We'll get down and dirty with Harry and mad with Max, from the classic adventures of Tarzan, Zorro and Robin Hood to modern men of action like McClane, Bourne and Rambo, from the wild west of the Ringo Kid and Butch and Sundance to the gladiatorial arenas of Spartacus and Maximus to the mean streets of Shaft and Bullitt. And let's not forget the two masters of the genre, a certain Dr. Jones and Bond ... James Bond.
